10-12-09 The following are questions and/or comments from the end of our professional development time exploring the ICC Essential Skills and Concepts and The Five Characteristics of Effective Instruction. 
<ul><li>Will this get us off the SINA list?</li><li>Appreciated work with subject groups - middle school &amp; high school together.</li><li>Time to fulfill the obligations?</li><li>Do we connect each of these to our units on the curricular map?</li><li>Many new ideas</li><li>Will we create our own assessments?</li><li>Will the state create assessments?</li><li>How in-depth does the curriculum map have to be?</li><li>Struggled with organization of the Iowa Core</li><li>Understand the Iowa Core web site better - seems easier</li><li>More confident that we might use it</li></ul>
